Hello everyone. My wife and I bought a place around R37 a couple years ago and I'm now looking at doing some fishing. I have never really fished before but bought a little boat and going to give it a whirl! I'll be scanning this forum and will set up a charter in the spring. Thanks!

Welcome! Check out TheShadTaxi.com - he's your neighbor there at R37 - and one of the very best fisherman on SML. Nows a great time to go too if you can pull it off!

First trip.. Tie on a lure, drive towards Hardy, look for birds swirling the water, throw your lure right into the middle of the action, hold on.
If none of the above occur, hire a guide. If all of the above occur, hire a guide. There is no better way to get started. However, I believe you need to try a few times by yourself before you CAN truly appreciate the wisdom you are paying for.
