Fished from Yacht Club to Beaver Dam (0715-1400). Landed 1 LM (14"), 40 crappie and 3 stripers (20"-26"). Kind of a smorgasborg of a day! Crankbait for LM, 1/32oz maribou jig for the crappie and a bucktail jig for the stripers. No busting action observed. Tons of bait everywhere! Water temp 63-65 degrees. Overall another good day on SML!

The biggest crappie can often times be found near the lights snacking on peanuts. Then, during the day, somewhere close by in brush. SML has big big crappie. My biggest last year was just north of 3 pounds.
