Bait - Had a couple dozen medium to large ales mixed with a few dozen peanuts.
Water Temperature - 70 degrees
Weather - Mostly Sunny in the low 70s
Techniques - Combination of planers, light lines and downlines
I got out today about 1:00 pm and fished until 6pm. I fished from Indian up the Beaverdam. Didn't catch a single fish. Found just a few fish off a couple main lake points but the wind made it hard to stay over them. Lots of boats, most seemed to be fishing the creeks. I ran through Indian, Grimes and Beaverdam. I found tons of bait but not many fish.
It was a great afternoon to be on the water.

Good report. I found the same in the creeks. I marked a bunch of singles in Beaver 2 weeks ago and stayed on em hard. Finally caught one... It was a cat. I'm not sure why they are not back in the creeks busting up all that easy bait. Or maybe they are when we ain't looking.
Hmmm.

Main channel, creek mouths til November. Some days in October they will slip in the creeks early or late or whenever and crush bait but you gotta hit it right. R22 you must have just missed it last night - they broke from 6-7pm not far from where you fished.
