I got out for a while Sunday afternoon. Searched for bait and finally found some peanuts in back of a creek near bridge that were not to deep for my net to reach. Decided to go downstream from bridge thinking most fishermen would be up from the bridge. Went halfway into a creek and just started fishing. My lucky day as I boated and released 8 in less than an hour and a half. Fish were all 26-30 inches in 30-35 feet. Water temp 68 with rain on and off. I read on here that someone said all the fish don't go to Hardy and they were right. First time posting for a long time as I sold the bass boat, got a center console and not equipped with a good enough bait tank to keep bait alive. Looking into EZ Flow and BlueWater tanks. Any help appreciated. Don't want to wait on the SBT.

nice report there 198...I didn't want to wait on the sbt neither so I went with the greyline tank and never been disappointed....a great tank but the pump and is actually mounted in the water with the fish...the filtering system is the same as the sbt...thanks lee

Looking into EZ Flow and BlueWater tanks. Any help appreciated. Don't want to wait on the SBT. Nice report 198. I was in the same boat with the SBT as you and decided to go with the EZ Flow tank. I waited for months for a SBT and Sutor (forum member) went with the EZ Flow and based on his observations I pulled the trigger on a 30 gallon. Glad I did. I tossed around the idea of a Greyline, Blue Water, SBT and the EZ Flow. Since this is my first bait tank I can't speak for the others and I am sure you can get a ton of good and bad feedback for each from others on here. Only downside of the BlueWater for me was the shipping. It was crazy high and put the end cost too high for me to consider.

Pretty sure Dewayne has some EZ Flows or he did. May want to check with him. SBTII, EZ Flow, and Bluewater are all comparable - hard to tell them apart to be honest. Another new tank I've recently heard about is G and M Bait tanks in SC. They look pretty sweet too - their prices are in line with the SBTII. I think they're even doing custom exterior colors now. Oh and they come standard with a Dannco! m.facebook.com/635962143136355/photos/pcb.703152533083982/703152513083984/?type=1&source=49#!/profile.php?id=635962143136355 I would argue the Greyline has the same filtration as the others. Unless they've changed it, it does not. They're still good tanks with lots of happy customers, but IMO the filtration is not as good as the others.

Pretty sure Dewayne has some EZ Flows or he did. He is supposed to be getting some more in. Last time I was in CQ he had sold them all.

the water flows over a piece of filter floss then it goes thru some black foam stuff then over a bag of charcoal....it has the 2 pumps in it...real easy to clean....I heard the older models wasn't as good...ive had nothing but good luck keeping a bunch of baits alive...when I got my tank the vest guy was sick and wasn't making them so I didn't have much of a choice....thanks lee

Guys I need some help. My wife and I are coming up next week. We did the surface planer board thing last year with some results early November. How do we deploy our baits at 30-35 feet without down riggers? Weight sizes and such? Thanks, Mark

Are you talking about live bait or artifical? If live bait - fishing 30-35' deep would mean downlines with ~2 oz weights or light lines a long ways back - probably 65-70' with a 3/8 oz.
