I have not been able to fish SML for a few weeks. I decided to head out Sat. morning even though I knew the wind would be up. I headed up the lake above B&B and found some fish in the mouth of a creek. They did not stay long and I did catch a 10Lb catfish. I had a few bumps on the line, but no takers. I come down the lake and I did pick up a 22" as I was fighting the wind in the mouth of a creek and the main channel. I decided to check a couple other places and as I came around the corner going to Bull Run, I was met with white caps and even more wind. I decided to head in and I even had to bring the boat in the slip at a 45 degree angle to slide in the slip.
On Sun afternoon, the missus and I decided to head out with a fresh supply of bait. The points I wanted to fish was way to windy. I did find a few fish and just as I set the lines out, the winds like to blew into the bank. I pulled up and fished the back of a cove where I found some in about 30" FOW with no takers.
