Water temp: 77 Weather: Overcast Bait : Got Alewives at 4:00 am off of a deep water light (Bait was not really easy) Bait seems to be easier at 3:00am than 4:00am Techniques : Down-rods with 2oz egg sinkers Time: 6:00am until 12ish Place: Mid-lake on Roanoke arm Marked lots of fish from the 30' down to 60'. Fish seem to be schooling up pretty well right now.. Keep an eye on the rods! Don't fall in boy! BTW- My boy has a life-jacket under his coat

Did I fall asleep and wake up in late Sept or early October??? Love those water temps Yeah, I know... bait is holding really well in my tank right now... But, I couldn't get bait this morning. It is always something. Maybe the the full moon with no cloud cover was a bad combination this morning.

Nice report, were you in Betty's or Becky's creek? Been a lot of boat activity in them this past week I did not see those kind of marks in either though.

Nice report, were you in Betty's or Becky's creek? Been a lot of boat activity in them this past week I did not see those kind of marks in either though. No, I was not in B&B when I marked that school... But, I was not to far from there... I seemed to mark most of the fish last week near points. Honestly, I just got really lucky last week.. Everywhere I went I just seem to run into fish. Sometime it just works out that way and sometimes fishing on SML seems like mission impossible. It can seem like a super big lake when your not marking fish.
