Welcome Capt. Jim - nice catches on Lake Cumberland for your clients.... sounds like at least one of our members' has fished with you in the past. Would love to see your knowledge of striper fishing shared on the board here in the various discussion sections....

Never seen anyone post a resume on here...what's up with that?!
I'm all about helping local businesses advertise their products or services on this site but this comes across as a one day spamming to me considering your location. You're more than welcome to participate on the site but ease up with the self promotion.

I thought I was sending a private message. This site is new to me.
I also did not realize my "location" would effect my postings that you only support local businesses("considering my location"). My customers that fish with me suggested I get involved with this site because it was open and friendly.

My customers that fish with me suggested I get involved with this site because it was open and friendly. Just as I thought - 2 months later and no more posts? That's bc we were spammed. You're also spreading lies. Ron tried to sell his company but the deal fell through last minute and that's from Ron himself. When you purchase a domain name, it doesn't necessarily make you the national marketing arm of the company, in this case Super bait tanks. www.lakecumberland.com/forum/topic/32595-super-bait-tanks-dispelling-untrue-rumors/#entry389526

Jeeez Bentrod...you hit hard. I tend to agree that he was coming on strong. And I'm not sure what the policy is here when it comes to marketing and self promotion. Thus I will refrain from defending this guy's right to be a good businessman.
All I can say is that this guy promised me a tank in 10 weeks and he delivered on his promise. All the while, everyone thought I was living in a fantasy world to think I would get an SBTII.
Seems to me that we should give him some credit and thank him if he is able to continue to provide us with the much sought after SBTIIs.

Bentrod, I agree with you 100%. You let one guy get away with promoting on this site and it will snowball into a huge mess. Yes the site is open and friendly but for fisherman to discuss the various topics related to same. I don't want to be marketed on this site. We already get enough of that from every other aspect of our lives.

I came on strong because I know of him from other sites and it's always the same story. It wasn't the first time I'd heard of Capt Jim so their was already a bad taste in my mouth (for very specific reasons) whether he can get you a tank in 2.5 months or not. Also when he joined, he sent us a PM and he basically ignored Mward's suggestions and did the opposite, so we don't really appreciate that. I honestly have no problem with someone sharing a product or service on here but I think that it can be done in a manner that is respectful to everybody, including the site itself.

I figured there was some history.
