Fished from 8p-1245a, started at Bettys Creek and ended near the State Park. Landed 3 LM's (15"-19"), 5 stripers (20"-26") and a 17lb flathead. All fish were caught on crank baits from the bank to 10'. I missed several more fish. They seemed to be swatting more at the bait instead of really trying to eat it. Shad activity was less than on 5/13, probably due to cooler water temps (65-69 degrees). Air temp was 42 degrees when I left the lake. Overall a good night, but cold ride to the dock!

What an up and down swing on surface temps recently - head of temps in the 80's a week ago...... not that I expected it to stay that high, but saw low to mid 70's on Sat and upper 60's down lake.

I wussed out over the weekend b/c of the cold. I gave enough over the winter  Tonight its on! |
