I ditched my 218 in favor of a more economical ride since I won't be live baiting anymore. A new Alumacraft Competitor 175, 75 Yamaha Tiller. No electronics yet. Can't wait to put some fish in it!

Nice, I like boats like that, I have a 22' Starcraft, they tow easy and make a great platform to fish off.

I'm loving this boat. I got it all loaded up with my gear, and still had a lot of room left. All rods are below deck, as is everything else. I mounted my Elite 7, which was the easiest install I've done on a boat yet, and went fishing last weekend. It was more of a break-in weekend. 38mph via GPS, running 5800-5900 RPMs into the wind, upstream and into a good white capped chop, carrying 30 gallons of fuel. It was quite the ride!! The boat handles remarkably well even in a fairly messy chop, its bone dry, and very smooth. Very smooth. Fishability is incredible for how I will fish from it. I like it so much that I would buy another just to have it.

My Starcraft was the same way, handled great, and would take a wake plus a dry ride.

Philpott walleyes (and other walleyes) will be it's main target.
Great for bottom bumpin white & yellow perch at SML too!
