Well I finally inspected my Wade net today. Last time I threw, I snagged a crappie tree with a bucket on it and actually pulled the tree up with crappie. I also had a snag that took about 10 minutes to recover after pulling and dropping and changing angles etc. Additionally, I caught many large branches and ripped a few branches off of some trees. And finally, I let go of the net too late and along with hitting my buddy, I snagged his metal fishing rod holders in the back of his boat.
Damage? Two areas were ripped. The first area was only two knots. The second area was 5 knots. It took 10 minutes to patch and I'm good as new.
Impression. Its a freaking beast! My cracker would be trashed after all that abuse!

Impressive. But I have to ask -- How's your friend?

Even though his right eye was blinded, I reminded him that is why god have him two eyes. We were there to catch shad, not to complain about little aches and pains!

Agreed. I have had similar experiences. Charlie (archemeny) and I were out and I pulled up an entire tree with my Wade net. We were both shocked that I got it back. These nets are a beast. I will never buy another net again. I had three or four holes in my net, but she's back in order now. I guess thats why he uses 150lb. braille lines.
