Practiced today for the Oakley Tournament coming up tomorrow. Fished all over the lake from about 7 am until 1:30 with very little luck. Had a lightning experience that kept me off the water until about 3:30. Late in the afternoon caught a couple off of docks, including a nice smallie. It seemed that they turned out once the weather calmed down a bit this afternoon. Will definitely be a lot of competition out there this weekend. I am not sure I have seen so many bass boats on the water on a weekday.
Best of luck to anyone fishing the event this weekend.

Good luck to you to man. I hit Staniford Creek up Blackwater a good ways. Then to Craddock Creek. 1 good strike and a bluegill the Rattle Trap I caught it on was bigger than. I threw the tackle box at em today too. Talked to about 20 other boats and same story other than the neighbors here at Gills Creek and the got 4. All on different lures
