Went out Thursday evening at Hardy Bridge about 3:30pm. Surface temps were hovering around 63 degrees with a steady wind around 5mph. The water had a good stain to it but not muddy. The up and down temps we had coupled with fronts pushing through accounted for a pretty long day on the water with little in the way of bites let alone hookups. I fished from just north of the bridge all the way to falling creek. I threw everything I had at em and got a couple nibbles but no takers and finally pulled out around 9pm. Crappie on the otherhand were feeding heavily and I did manage to hook one while I was cranking, though the crankbait was as big as he was. I am hoping the weather stabilizes over the next few days as I plan to hit it again Sunday. Good luck and tight lines
