Yes I am coming down this weekend to fish and haven't had a chance to fish smith Amy this year and was wondering if anyone could give me a report on the water temp and a general idea of what there doing like on beds or still all in prespawn any help would be nice ty

Check the striper sub-board reports as most of those have recent water temperatures. Also, the Smith Mountain Striper Club website maintains recent water temperature reports at Hales Ford Bridge - typically updated every week or two. www.smithmountainstriperclub.com/water-temps.htmlCan't help you on the largemouth other than to say they have cruising points/flats and eating 8-10" gizzards pretty well  |
