I put in at brookneal around 3 and fished until dark. I fished from cat rock all way down to the hatchery. I ended up with 2 walleye, 21 white perch a few white bass in the mix. Then I got that one hit I been waiting all winter for. 24" striper and he was the thickest fish I've ever caught. Only caught that one but I could smell fish very strong.. I do think its a school of fish there.

They were getting into them pretty good today unfortunately i was not able to make it myself but my buddy said he caught 16 this eve

WOW..Saw a few boats at the Brookneal ramp..great report..sounds like they are on the move..hope this crappy weather and muddy water doesnt discourage the bite
