I put in this morning round 8 at brookneal boat ramp and went straight up to the rocks. Was trying to catch some white bass and was hoping for a striper. But I ended up with one 14in small mouth and 3 walleyes over 20in. I fished from cat rock all way down past the new hitchery. I heard people are catching white bass at 360 so they should be in the brookneal area next week maybe sooner. Either way I'll be eating good tonight. :-)

I've heard the same thing and also have a buddy that said he caught some walleye and white bass in the rocks yesterday. They should be in there any day now especially with all the water
