Looking to get a few rod combo's under $80 each to start with. Want a few for bass looking at the Abu Garcia Black Max combo, and the Pflueger Trion Spnning Combo. But I also want to try my hand at Striper too. So I need advice on a good Combo to start with. Thanks a head of time!

I use black max but have them paired with daiwa aird rods! This is the cheapest left hand reel I can afford! And get them online for about 40$. And get the rods from Franklin outdoors for 40$. 80$ combo and have a couple diff actions depending on what rod!! Lightest for the $ you will find! Landed a 25" stripe on the 6'6 mh w 12lb line this weekend! My bass set up though!
Striper you should get the Magdna 20-30 and ugly stick striper! Under 80$. Think rod is 29 and reel is 35, 65-70$ combo
There is a guy in the striper club that uses the Magdna and bass casting rods together for his striper combos! Actually uses the skeet Reese rods!!
Don't see why you can't search and find something that fits you! The Magdna and ugly stick is heavy for my liking though!
I have a combo that I like so-so and you can look it up. Abu 5600bcx (40$). And shimano 7ft fx 20$. 60$combo! This one has put a bunch in my boat! Another is the bass pro mega cast combo as-is for 49$.

Btw. I like the trion reels as well. Haven't tried the combo though!
