I've got a 35 gallon Bluwater, almost identical to a SBT II. Thinking about trying to light it. I have some LED strip lights that are "waterproof". Should I put them along the sides of the tank down at the bottom? Or above the waterline? Worried that putting them above water will cause glare and make it tough to see the bait.

Thanks mward. Goons give it a shot. Worried about the adhesive myself...will post some pics if I can get it to work. I bought the 6 foot led strip lights and tucked them under the ceiling of my tank. In terms of adhesive, don't even think what comes with the lights will work. Go to Lowes and get some 3M double stick outdoor tape. It is rather wide so i just cut it to match my strip lights. Once it takes hold...you are good!

I ended up using blue. Its okay, but there is some glare on the water. Almost wish I had mounted one of the underwater thru-bulkhead LED livewell lights.

Unfortunately my tank looks like that a lot of the time...I'm getting a little better at catching bait after I find it. A big fast net helps a ton...
