2nd trip out this year and same as last weekend....Nuthin. Got into some birds just after daylight and found 2 small schools of stripers but they wouldnt touch nothing. Started working the mouth of some different creeks after that and again there would be bait and stripers but they would not bite. Heard the SML report for the morning was much the same. What Gives? I jigged spoons, chartreuse and white ice flukes the majority of the morning. Took about a half hour and pulled 1 chartreuse and 1 white U rig up the main channel through a buncha fish and nothing there either.

I reckon thats fish.. Feel like I done forgot how to fish its been so long...

Geeeeez...not what I wanted to read. Gonna give it a go in the AM..hope to beat the winds this time. How was the ice coming out of the boat ramp and heading back up river?

pretty good on the ice, didnt see any, what was in the back of jasper and other creeks was gone. I never went above goat island but would expect the same.

Yeah - we didn't do much up on SML this morning either - not a skunk as we didn't out a bait or lure in the water - well Nathan made a few case but they were just to get some like straight on his baitcaster so it doesn't count . We really didn't even hardly try - ran around for 3 hours and tossed the net here and there in between.
