Good fishing all, I recently took the plunge and bought the Lowrance touchscreen hds9 fish locator. I was wondering if I should put a screen protector on it or if it's not a good idea? xoskins makes a custom fit one for the hds9 and they claim it has no adverse effect on operation of unit. They also claim it can be removed with no damage to the screen. Any opinions? Thanks!

I have them on my units - figured it makes it easier to wipe the shad slime or such off and if needs replace it later or protect the screen and as such resale value.
I don't have a touch unit but if I did is definately have one on it.
