We got started friday night catching bait. I had trouble until about 2 am, then I started to catch 3 or 4 small gizards per throw. We fished saturday at betty & beckeys and went all the way to the dam and couldn't find any fish so we headed in. Sunday we got a late start around 8:30 and fished a small school below the bridge and managed 1 little fish. Fishing seemed to be hard this weekend. Countryboy96 Attachments:

Hey, you caught fish and were out on the water on a couple of beautiful mornings - could be worse. Nice going and thanks for the report!

Yup it was pretty fun and we got Ian on his first striper so it was a pretty good morning.

Thanks again for the report. The report sounds more like my typical weekend then those people who report they caught 650 fish by breakfast time. It is really hard to get on the stipers this time of year. From people I have bee talking too, your weekend report sounds just like theirs. Thanks Again.

This summers been good. But not as good as it could be. ALOT of smaller fish in the 3-6lb range then all of a sudden you get a couple 12's. We did hit a huge school wed that had alot of 10-13lb fish in it. But this year the fish havent been hanging in one area as they normally do in the past. I have been having to move alot. Ive seen alot of big schools of fish, but not all in the same area. Ive also had alot of the big schools never even touch a bait. I am getting most of my action from smaller size schools. They seem to be more aggresive right now.
