Somewhere near the coast guard station in Franklin county. Thats all i know.

If you know where the CG station docks are - it's in the cove directly south of it.

Coming from Rocky Mount towards BridgeWater after WestLake turn on 666 MerrimanWay (at Epworth Church) do out about a mile and turn on Oldfield Rd. down and take a right on Oak groveto the end and ramp is straight ahead.

FYI - I received word that the opening ceremony for the new ramp is on Dec 12th - maybe it will be open before then but I guess at least by that point.

Went down and checked out the ramp today, it was blocked off at the road, so not open yet. Very nice ramp with long docks on each side. Seems very steep, I can envision a boat on the concrete or a vehicle in the lake if everyone is not careful. Parking and restrooms are way up the hill, and parking will fill up quick on a busy day. One last thing....who designed the path to walk down the hill? It's a zig zag path that winds back and forth down the hill. Why not just put in a straight path with steps?

I'm sure it has to be handicapped accessible... That means no stairs.

Sure has a lot of lights for night use, was at the station last night, hope it stops thief's instead of helping them see what they are doing.
