Chesapeake 12-27 & 28

We fished the Bay Friday and Saturday. We got on the water early in order to avoid the crowds at the ramp and to get set up early. The sunrise was pretty and the winds were light..

We got on some fish Friday and caught 5: 39 lbs, 45 lbs, 40 lbs, 35 lbs, and 30 lbs. Friends with us caught one around 40 lbs. All caught on eels with planers or downrods near Cape Charles.
Saturday the weather was rougher but we caught 2: 44 lbs and 40 lbs. Our friends caught 4: 50 lbs, and 3 between 40 and 45 lbs.

Glad you guys got some - looked like it turned on after Christmas - or maybe there was just finally a break in the weather and folks could get out there.

Sweet! Awesome fish! Wish I'd have made it this year but its hell being poor and having no time. Always next year.
