Lowrance Structure Scan..Would you buy it again?

Greetings,

With the recent price drop at Lowrance I'm looking at upgrading my fish finding gear. Ive become quite fond of Lowrance lately and pleased with what I own thus far. I'm curious for feedback from those of you that own the structure scan module. If you had the money and could do again would you purchase it? I'm really interested it for bait catching purposes more than anything. Im looking at getting it in a combo with an hds 7 gen 2.

I would buy it again for the side scan. Its really helpful with locating bait quicker. I have also caught fish just because of the Side view. I have the HDS 7 and think a larger screen would be great but couldn't spend that kind of money on it. The 7 is still very usable though.

Thanks for the reply Jon, Thats what I was hoping to read. Ive been using an Elite 7x HDI over the past year and love it. Def. way beyond what Ive owned previously. It locates fish well but struggles with the shad now that they are deeper. I can pick em up just fine on the screen but have no clue which side or direction they are moving. I cant tell you how much time Ive wasted with throws that come up empty.

Time to the put pennies away...

I have the structure scan on two boats and love it. my only regret would be I bought a HDS8 instead of getting the 10 In this case bigger is all ways better :}
