We left early Friday morning and got to Chris Bait and Tackle got some ells and put in at 730 we was wonder why it was boats hiding behind the ships and then we found out it was rough out there 6 or 7 footers but we fished anyway we made lot of drifts from Cabbage patch to 18 by mid day it was a lot nicer we marked big fish and bait but they just would not bite and it sounded like every body we talked to had same luck Saturday we put in and it was nice out we got to run some planer boards and went from Cabbage patch all the way to Cape Charles still marking fish but same as Friday no bites I don't know if this means anything but there was loads of Jelly fish down near the southern ships Was going to lave boat but changed my mind and we going to watch weather and might one more trip in before it is over

Sounds good maybe we will get a few good days in. Weather and big fish;-) the more I think about it I should have just left the boat down there. But when I seen the water was 44 deg I figured it was not looking good

No not yet. Waiting on word now if there is a bite. I was thinking with the SW wind it would be very fishable around Henry, The Pigzilla is this weekend heading down tomorrow for Charles. I'll let you know what happens Friday. Jamie

Good luck.... not a lot of good reports this week, then again its been 12-15 mph winds sustained and 2-4' seas so probably not a ton of folks out....

Didn't look good Fri. mourning was on balt. shipping channel around 30 at 0700, no bait or fish. Drifted to 34 by 930. Got a call from Pa Petey, said he had a report fish were moving south from Md. in Va legal waters.Back to Charlies loaded and ran north 25 miles and figured out another inlet. Whales, gannets, and bait greet us at the mouth. Drifted snakes at 1.5 mph north. Broke 1st off, not sure why bad spot I guess. Next fish 27#,missed one on 4 oz. down, next one 1 oz. plainer 38.5 takes us to 3;30 time to ride. Shakey about twisty narrow inlet back. Thinking no one would have fish. Wrong they turned on in the bay N of P.L. One team weighed a 58 and 42 to lead. We are in 4th with 2 days to go. water in bay 45, water 25 miles N of fishermans 46. It aint over. Fish are still coming down from up bay and the coast. Local S.M. guide landed to 2 - 48's single handedly yesterday afternoon. Quite a feat in 15 mph winds.Report was they came from the bay N. also. Bentrod never got to Henry. Heard report big school bait at the mouth, but can't confirm. Jamie
