Headed up to the Bay last Friday with hi hopes that NOAA maybe got the weather report correct. Crossing the bridge we found whitecaps and quite a bit of wind...
Couldnt get out til around 10:30am due to 4-5 footers in Cape Charles. Wind finally laid down as you can see in this pic, it wasn't too bad...
Didnt get a bite Friday. Got set up early Saturday am....
Pretty nice Sat....
Ended up with one bite.....
A 44" 40lber....
Water is cold at 44.5 degrees. Very little bait. Fish scattered and very low in the water column. Kinda disappointing, but we did catch one nice fish. Heading back after Christmas. Hope it picks up between now and then.
