The annual boat parade will be Saturday night the 30 November leaving Va. Dare Marina about 7:00 PM the boats will come up the lake to Hales Ford Bridge and make a turn back down towards Va. Dare Marina and go down to the state park and turn back towards VA.Dare where it will end. Can watch from the bridge or Bridgewater or State Park. Last year they had about 17 boats in the parade, Va. Dare is doing a dinner cruise, it will be the lead boat. Join in, decorate your boat and come down, they ask you to bring a toy for Toys for Tots. Usually takes a couple of hours for it to make the trip up and back down.
