That will probably be prime-time - ideally the weekend I'd go but my little girl (well, not so little now) turns 13 a few days later and has her annual performance of the Nutcracker Ballet which I'll be attending several shows of during the weekend....

Fishing Report for 11/15/2013 Posted on November 15, 2013 Rockfish are on their way!!!!!! Good reports this week at Assateague Island surf. Capt. Steve’s of Chincoteague has nice pics of 30+ pounders, Fish should be available out of Oyster in the ocean or off Fisherman’s Island. Looking for the first catches this weekend. Tautog have been hitting good near the CBBT and around the concrete ships. We still have a good bite of Puppy Drum in Plantation Creek and off Mockhorn Island. Reminder that the 18th Annual Kiptopeke Rockfish Riot is scheduled for November 28th thru December 8th. This is to benefit the Northampton County Toy Closet and help underprivileged children on the Eastern Shore. Come and give them your support and have a great time fishing this awesome tournament. www.rockfishriot.com for more info or call the shop and we will help you

These cold fronts over the next week to 10 days should push them on down. Let's just hope it does not cool to quick in the bay - and that the wind will cooperate

Stupid weather.... blew us out for our trip - we were going to be there today - Sun. Today would have been fishable - tomorrow would have be miserable - Sat / Sun would be dangerous.....
May still try and figure something out before its over..... some good fish being caught up there right now - a 58+ was caught yesterday and know of numerous fish around 50.....
If you guys get there, catch one for me this year!

I feel your pain mward. Been in MT for the last few days trying to get my hunt on and the weather is awful. Sat at the airport all day today only to find out that my only chance to get home will be tomorrow. Temp at 2 today was -19 and dumping snow. Ready to get back to VA and enjoy the weather. Those 50+ will be waiting for ya.
