Headed out to catch bait at 6:30 Tuesday morning. Water temp 57 warming to 62 later in the day. Had a hard time finding any big bait. Caught a tank full of larger peanuts and ales. Threw the net untill about 9:30 Then headed to moormans to pick up my Dad and oldest son at 10am. Headed out in search of some larger bait and ran up on a school of breaking fish. They stayed up for about 45 min. We were able to catch 8 while they were up. We broke one more off and lost one at the boat. Dad and Matt were throwing 4" top water plugs and I was using a zoom swim bait. Dad with the first fish of the day. Matt wiht his first of the day After that we found the big bait caught 12 decent shad 7 to 10 inch in about 4 throws. Put 6 out on freelined boards. Caught 3 larger fish. Had several blowups and pull downs. Here are a coupe that came off of the live bait. We casted to points with deep diving plugs after dark and Matt got one more. Finished up about 9pm with 12 stripers caught! Thats a new personal best for us. Sure does feel good after 4 skunks in a row. All the fish were in the slot. The biggest weighed between 12 and 13 lbs. There is something cool about fishing with Dad and my boys

Sorry the pics are sideways. I had them rotated when I uploaded them. I don't know what happened.

3 generations. Very nice. The smile on your sons face is priceless. I say take them hunting and fishing and you can't go wrong. Nice report!!

I know the few recent skunks make it that much better. That is a day to remember for sure!
