Thursday made 4 skunks in a row That may be a new record for me. Same story different day. caught a good mixed bag of bait. jumbo peanuts, 7 to 11 inch shad, and a couple of ales. tried them all. free lined planers, down lines, light lines, free lines, and a free line float. had about 6 blowups on the big shad on free line planers all day. finally got tired of fighting the wind and called it a day about 4:30. Did get a nice windburn though I guess I will lick my wounds and try again next week.

Don't feel bad I am six skunks in a row. I just bought my boat a month and a half ago and have not put a striper in it yet. I'm licking the hell out of my wounds, got to learn how to catch these elusive fish. Thinking about starting to learn how to catfish, a whole lot easier!

Here are a couple of pictures from Thursday. Just before sunrise and a 11 inch gizzard shad. He didn't look so good after a couple of stripers beat him up. Now if one would just find the hook when they attack.
