Visited this State Park for the first time today. Read where the lake had muskies, so I came prepared. Cast many times in different places, and finally caught a beauty at the upper end of lake! Guessing 3ft+, was using 25lb line on 7ft ugly stik with a super shadrap in smallmouth color. cbc66

Thats awesome! Post up a picture. Ive never caught one but Ive got a good friend who lives in Kentucky at Cave Run Lake and I plan to get up there this spring for them. Its called the Musky Capital of the south

Sweet report. Ive only caught them up in MN. But then again its the only place I've fished for them.

Nice report.
I know where a nice one is on SML. I keep forgetting to toss a big sucker over near the area and see if she'll eat. I think it's the same one I caught 3yrs ago. Bout a 4fter. Same spot.
