Greetings...decided to try the morning out for a change. Put in around 9am and fished til 3. Water temp around 72. Bait still heavily scattered. Still netting butt tons of peanuts. Took a good hour to catch 30 or so decent gizzards.
Put 12 in the boat..all small running from 4-6 lbs. lost 2 more and netted 2 greenbacks chasing the shad:)
Stripers were schooled up early and then scattered by about 1 or so. Magic number was 28 ft today
