Fished at B&B for about an hour, only caught a 12" striper, moved on since we didn't mark much of anything. Spent the rest of the morning looking for stripers, but couldn't find any. Put lines in the water for fun in Indian Creek, but still nothing there. There were a decent number of boats at B&B, but it didn't look like any of em were actually fishing, just looking too. Did anyone in the floatilla mark/catch any? If I didn't know better I'd say there weren't any fish in the lake based on what our lowrance was reading...

Today?
We picked up a few on Saturday morning there - most in the mouth of Becky's between 7:30 & 8:30. Sounds like we missed a good school by about 30 minutes or so. That's the "fun" of this time of year - it's kinda feast or famine.....

Got a few too out of beckys Sat. morning. Found a lot more fish down lake Sunday morning. Oh, I actually saw mward catch a pig Sat. morning. ( I think his exact words were "did you see that monster") and it must have worn him out cause he couldn't get out of bed Sunday morning. ;D

I may get out tomorrow morning. I'm probably going to die from back pain, but I can't even remember what's it like to fish on my boat anymore.

BentRod, if your back is already hurting, I wouldn't even mess with catching bait. The fish didn't seem to want it much Sunday. Did pretty good on spoons, but some guys in a couple bass boats wore them out jigging flukes!!!

Nah, all the big fish and the big fish guides look alike though.

I need to buy the camera & lens that Bigun was using..... I'm pretty sure this was the more accurate version.... But no, Travis did NOT catch that fish - I knocked his big self over running him over to get the rod ;D

I should say I ran him over to get the rod in March 2011..... haven't seen one on SML that size since then - well, at least not at the end of my line....

Friday we went out and got a nice 8 pounder towards the back of Betty's, and marked them decent, no super school though. Some guides were there pulling in a few too. But we went back this morning and didn't see a thing, just thinking if no one else saw any maybe they've relocated. Maybe they've headed farther down the lake like bigun said..?

Saw a couple of bass boats and one striper boat at the mouth of Crystal Shores Sunday morning, don't know if they caught anythings or not, but they sure were in the same close area jigging for something.
Nice fish Mr. Ward
