Where have you guys found the best deal on U rigs? Local, internet, etc? Would like to purchase a couple with a retriever. I know Saunders had them, but word is they're closed for the season?

I always got mine at www.captmacks.com. Not the cheapest but good quality and good service.

Saunders is closed - have not heard for sure if its for the season or good..... he did have a good supply of Capt Mack's gear at the shop.
I'd hit up Captain's Quarters - Dewayne usually has several rigged and ready for sale with the right colors for SML.....

Thanks guys, I would rather buy local. Hope Saunders is not closed for good. They are just down the road from me, great local people, great local tackle. Same goes for CQ when I am on the water.

Captain's Quarters is a great place. Dewayne has pre rigged u-rigs and all the components needed to rig your own. I fish primarily u-rigs and prefer to buy local as well. My preference is to make my own.

Wasn't quite sure. Thinking of one five & one 9 in light to medium. I am a beginner. Suggestion.....

Talked to Jay Saunders this past week he is "done for good".. Will miss the service and him being right down the block did not hurt. CQ at the bridge is your best shot here on the lake at least until he closes for the season.

Gator for some reason I can't reply to your pm. Thanks for the information. Are using braid or mono? #?

I use 50 LB braid for my u-rigs. 3/4 oz lead heads. Been fishing them about 60-70 ft of line the last couple of weeks. CQ has the retriever too. GOOD Investment.

Checkout my website. I just added several umbrella rigs and a-Rigs to the website. I will be adding rigged umbrellas as soon as I get a weather break. I need to get into the shop for pictures and rigging. www.ExtremeFishingConcepts.com
