Bait is not to bad if you know where to throw at. I made 2 throws this morning, the first got me some nice money maker gizzards and a few monsters which I put the real big ones back. The 2nd throw filled the tank with really nice jumbo ales. Having not fished since may I set out in search of fish. Never could find a good solid school of fish, just scattered fish of a few or less. Had lots of fish come up and take a look and wont interested enough, had a few give a tug or two and head back down also. We put 3 fish in the boat for our efforts and from most of the word I got talking to other folks today was rough for them also. We had Brandi's Mom with us and got her on 2 fish which were her first real fish ever besides bream and Brandi took the other.
