Greetings, 9/14 We elected to hold off on fishing the upper lake until I get a little more familiar...water was too low for me to try it. Put in around 10:30 fished until 5:30 - water was real low..Id say 10ft below normal. Water temp a bit better around 76-78 fluctuated. Early on found a ton of scattered fish and 1 small school. Hooked up on 5 fish (all were 5-6lbs) and most in 20ft or less.. seemed a little shallower? Around 4 found the mother school and had a field day ...caught 5-6 more (lost count ) in a 20 min period.. ranged from 5-7lbs... lost a rod and reel in the process after i failed to put it in a rod holder and 1 decided to pull it in These fish were on the move... couldnt locate them after 20 minutes Gonna give it a another go this afternoon... 9/15 Went back out on Sun from 4 - 7 ... BEAUTIFUL out there.. Found a number of schools...they looked to be gorging as Ive never marked that many fish together before..Saw a bit of topwater action... Caught 6 - 1 rang in around 10lbs and made it home . The rest ranged from 4-6 lbs... all VERY aggressive...
