Riding in style like afloatasleep! My fishing boat! 1970 14' sears semi v john!! 30lb trolling motor! Getting ready to put a deck in it, to mount a front trolling motor, and fix my 5hp 1956 Montgomery Ward Sea King! If its not covered in scales and slime its not a fishing boat!!! 2x4 run down the inside with the 1.99$ coil bank rod holders from walmart run down in the 2x4!! Hey if it leaks make the leak worth while to pump out! My summer ride! 98' bayliner Capri f&s but have only caught one fish worth talking about out of it. I like my fishing boat better! Cost to much to have fun in this beast! Also come with another guy on his boat in a tri-hull ebbtide older boat late 70s early 80s (PUDDLE JUMPER)

12' isn't that bad depending on the width! Friend has a flat bottom 12' that you can't even move in! That's no fun!! Feels like the boat is going to tip over any minute!
I really like the width of mine! You can stand up, throw the net. Even pull the boat back to where you got hung up! (fishing boat!) Just can't quite handle the summer traffic, and the heavy winds. Oh did I say it don't change the gas mileage of the truck that much getting it to the lake!
If I was to take the center beam out I would have plenty of room for a bait tank! Just have to brace the side to the tank to give it support! This is another reason to put the deck on the front, extend the front seat and sit the tank against it. Make it easier to walk around. Been using a 50 quart cooler for a bait tank! Works pretty well. Just have to change the water often! My good bait goes in a 5 gal. Bucket and towed! Only put half dozen money makers in it though, much bigger I'll drop down to 4-5. Run out, go find some more!
I like the trash can set-up! But I wouldn't like pulling that across main lake. Sure it slows ya down right much, I know the 5gal does!
