While driving into work this morning I was watching the sun rise and that always makes me think of fishing. Nothing better than to watch the sun rise on the lake. What I started thinking about was the storage of planner boards while going from one location to another. I have the planner boards stored away when not in use but in order to get back in the water as quickly as possible when moving from spot to spot I don’t have a good place to store the boards so they usually end up on the bottom of the boat bouncing around until I get to the next spot. Has anyone figured out a good method for storing your planner boards while moving? Thanks for the input.

Depends on your boat..... a bucket/basket, tucking them on top of the electronics box under the t-top, etc. Don't leave them cliped and dangling on the line as they could bounce around and knick the line/leader on you.

These work well also - bag you can strap on the back on the leaning post or seat. www.tacklewebs.com/32x15.htmlA little pricey but I found them 40% off at a local tackle shop down in eastern NC last year.

I have one of those nets that are provided in the back of many SUV's. They have elastic cord on all four sides with about two in squares. I've attached it to my center console railing and just pull the top elastic open and place boards and floats in together. Been working great for about 10 years now.

I have a old hard mid size cooler. This keeps them from getting broken. My grandkids will even use this as a seat at times.
