I never used an air stone at all man, I used a line and injected it thru the pump to bust the bubbles and seemed to be just as the fitting on the pump does now. Was a fine mist though. I tried just putting in output like I said and bubbles were huge to me and fish seemed to red nose quicker. So I went back to my old setup as I use now. What psi does it recommend with the air stone. 1/4 psi? or more..... I used a regulator I had for a torch setup and reduced the output on the line to only 1/8" and played with the psi on it for months but never really was pleased with it. Even did it on a timer and only injected every minute or two can't remember all the specs was a few yrs ago I played with it man. Actually still have the setup in my building. Let me know what you think. Might have to bring the old setup out and put the stone on it.
