Got the boat ready to go, hooked up and almost loaded with the necessary tools to catch fish at the beach. updates to come when we get down there and start fishing, looking so forward to it.

Got out last night on the beach with the grandsons, surf was at high tide, did manage two small sand sharks, they enjoyed it. will try and get the crab pot and minnow traps in today and hope to catch some nice crabs and bait.

Weather has been terrible down here this week, first part of the week 100 degrees heat index, 20 to 25 mile winds, now rain, looks like rain the rest of the week. planning on being back to lake on Sunday, hoping weather is better than here. Did catch some nice crabs in the pot.

I hoped it was better weather there, 60% chance of thunder storms today, At least the wind is down to 10 miles a hour. Forgot to add trolling motor went out, not sure but I think the foot pedal is gone. Will haveto check when I get the boat back home. Lake you can get along without the trolling motor but with the wind and and current and tides and shallow water you need it. Leave a few in the lake for me, be careful, heading back tomorrow, off to Bass Pro Shops to stock up for the fall.
