My wife and I won a 5 day, Vista Point condo stay through a silent aiuction. We're going to be there 9/8 - 9/12. I would like to hire a striper guide for a day and hopefully learn enough to venture out on my own the rest of the time. I have no experience with SML therefore, I would be very appreciative of any advice / recomendations. Thank you.

I would love a recommendation for striper guides as well. Would like to find someone that doesn't mind sharing information that I can use to fish on my own.

The Shad Taxi - Captain Todd Keith or Cats n Stripers Guide Service - Captain Travis Patsell are the ones I would use. Both will work their tails off to put you on fish and will teach you how to fish for them as well without the theatrics you will get from some others (beating the bottom of the boat and such). Money well spent for either of them in my opinion.
