Did good, been kind of a wierd summer for me as far as what the fish are doing . The fish just don't seem to want to school up mid-lake yet. Water temps 85.7 and never caught a fish deeper than 30 ft. Would never release a fish caught 50-60' deep in the summer but with the fish we are catching still being fairly shallow, and a quick fight, went ahead and caught and released after our limits. The fish seemed fine after the release. The fish look really fat and healthy this summer. Downlines, floats, lite-lines, freelines and boards produced well and about the same. friday....gotta love not many folks on the water when you're trying to fish... saturday...I've heard mward say a hundred times, "just the thought of waiting till morning to catch bait would put him in panic mode" if it were not there in the am......well...ummm...got lazy friday night decided to wait till morning to catch bait....no bait at the light. (except thousands of 1-2" ales. Tried to find a school to jig on, but no bait = no fish..... sunday....back in the bait and back in the fish....

Bigun - all you would have had to do is to call.... as many miles as I logged on Sat, another run from the BW to mid-Roanoke and back would not have mattered
