Has anyone ever used the Berkley power bait saltwater products? I see they have crabs, sand fleas, shrimp, and strips for bottom rigs. Anyone have any experience with these products and if so color choices sizes etc. Any help would be great. Looking to surf fishing on the Outer Banks in September.

Depends on what you are going for. I've had great success with the crabs, pogy's, and squid and bloodworm strips. I use the gulp alive stuff.

And if I am going for something really big like shargs I use the bottom rigs with strips to catch small crocker's and use them as live bait or cut bait

Used the shrimp last year worked good after I put a stinger hook on it. they were biting the tail off. Mostly I use squid when we go to the coast. Also had good luck on jigs with curly tails

I've had real good luck at Ocean City, MD with FishBites bloodworms in the surf for croakers, flounder, spot and kingfish. I generally use my smaller rigs and fish the wash closer to shore while I have my heavier surf rods out deeper with squid, mullet, bunker, etc. for blues and stripers. I've also had alot of success on flounder with putting on a Berkley Gulp swimming mullet along with a live minnow or shiner. Fish color preferences changes for some reason. Some days chartreuse works best... other days white or pink.
