Well Ive pretty much been stuck on flatheads since the end of april but with last weekend giving me my first skunk and reports of others not doing well I assume they are spawning now. So.....I went back to stripers this morning and had a helluva morning out on the dark side. Hit my favorite summertime creek with the full spread at daylight, 4 down lines, 4 light lined planer boards, and 2 floats out the back. Sure enough the fish were there and I quickly found out I had more rods out than I could handle... The school blacked out the screen and all 4 downlines went down and both boards on the right side. It was around 6 minutes of chaos but I managed to put 3 in the boat, 1 got unhooked before I could get to it and 2 broke off. After that I downsized my offerings to 4 downlines and 1 float out back. Caught several doubles and singles. Pretty much non stop action till 8am and then it died out. Even had to older hotties on the bank cheering me on at one point only to reel in a small 12" striper.... The rest of the fish averaged 6-10lbs. The water temps were right at 80 and definately stressing the fish out. All in all a great morning on the water.

Nice morning! Always fun with those scrambles - it's what makes downline fishing exciting.
