Well the water level is 22.56ft by usgs water gage. I know it was still stripers here before this flood and some was spawning. I don't know if this high water will take them on back to the lake or if more fish will come up. What do yall think will happen? Is the striper fishing done for the year or is it just getting started. Im hoping there was a few schools of big fish down river and they are making there way up in this high water. Any feedback will be appreciated.

In years past when the river got high.....the schools would go all the way to leesville dam....high water used to not stop them

Very true, but I don't no about this late in the season. Some fish was spawning before the river came up.

You'll be able to fish the river for them through May...if there is enough water to fish in after the flood.

O yea, I'm a river rat. If its a striper there I will be able to catch it. I'm just hoping some bigger fish come up. I'm not trying to brag or anything but i grew up at catrock.
