I still question his decision to go to the moving water. Water does not go up on its on ( although I have never figured out how you get a waterfall at the top of a mountain). looked like some mighty smooth water on the edges of the fast water. Maybe he got paid by a lobbyist to do that why the cameras were rolling. Passenger did a good job of moving forward to shift the weight of the boat and still staying low for stability.

Guy in the striper boat should have that pfd zipped up though.

That will also be an easily recognizable boat when it goes up for sale. How do you turn that into your insurance company?

Now we're talking!!! That is mother nature taking care of the species by selection of the fittest. Obviously if you drive your boat into that you should have your genes removed from the gene pool. And yes I am a mean bastard. There was only one thing missing, They should have had a tape recorder turned up repeating the following, "Watch This!!!!" Yeah I seriously doubt that guy had any money invested in that boat....I fished a redman years ago and had a pro for a partner....everything had a dealer tag on it....asked him how that ranger handled....he said we will find out at blast off....he just picked it up the night before....that was my 15 seconds of fame on tv....we had to stay together to sign weight slips and such...when we was on stage he told them I was the best net man he ever fished with.... Heck I just watched him more than I fished lol
