Spent 4 hours trolling 5 acres using a John Deere X500. I had several rocks and sticks bite, a couple hook ups but they all flew loose before I landed them. I switched to plugging with a Stihl FX85 for an hour or so, nothing! Switched to Miller Lite and can't remember what hits, hoook ups etc.........

Thanks for the report bigjon. I especially liked how you switch up your baits. I find the miller lite to be very productive. Oh. bigjon, need to know if you will help a buddy out?? I'm looking for a masseuse for a couple 3 day fishing trips with 4 lovely ladies. I know, but I promised they would be pampered. Was gonna ask Leo but since he can't half see......the thought of him trying to rub around on me ( even if by accident) wants me to cancel the trips. ;D roanoke.craigslist.org/spo/3772221116.htmlSure is 2 nice ones in the next to last pic!!!! ;D

I caught my personal best of the species - 2000 lb test line.... Speaking of "M***** ******'*", there were two guys on that ramp Sunday morning struggling to put a boat in the water yelling that at each other! Haha. Good start to their day fishing together! The optimist tournament sleep deprives people and they get grumpy I guess.

God, I'm glad I joined this forum! As much as I enjoy reading about your fishing reports, tackle and lure preferences, etc., I absolutely love listening to you guys go back and forth on one another You all have built some great relationships and that's to be commended. Good friends that have your back are hard to come by now a days. Looking forward to my first fishing trip to Smith Mountain next week. Just hope I'm lucky enough to post some good reports and pics of some nice fish that we catch.

You guys are nuts. I guess I'm a little slow too. I kept trying to figure out what kind of lure a John Deere 500X was (lol).
