Just wondering how the night time bite was doing maybe going to try to fish Friday night. I thought maybe the cooler nights slowed them down.

Been wondering the same thing myself usually by now the night bite has started and they are already around the dam area. Coming up next week for the whole week. Love caching them at night on plugs

Fished last Friday night. Caught a 28" and 14" Striper and a 5 lb. smallmouth. Brother-in-law caught a 21" & 19" Striper. Had several other blow ups without hook ups and had another get off just after the hook up. Shad were anywhere from 20' off the bank to on the bank. Heard quit a few pops. Fished the curve just above the Halesford bridge.

Maybe we will all catch a big ol striper take his pic then watch him swim of we released a 37 1/2 big fat healthy striper a couple of weeks ago caught him around indian point that fish did not have the first copepods or what ever you call them things in his mouth and gills one of the best looking stripers i have seen in a long time.

I have been from niagra, to routrough, to the main channel this weekend(5/18-19/13). Had great hit and runs at niagra but no hook ups. Caught a 4lb hybrid and 5lb striper at the explorer park rapids on a spoon. And also a few smaller channel cats on livers, but nothing amazing... Did anyone have any 15lbers this weekend? Im looking to give my fenwick a beatin'. Mind you I am a bank/wade fisherman and limited on locations. But I can get around.

I've been fishing the channels around Saunders to the dam, where in that area are they biting during the night? And hopefully I'm not being to detailed but how deep should I be fishing ( line depth wise)? Thanks guys
