Took my uncle down to the lake for 4 days to do some striper fishing. Weather was perfect for fishing. Clouds, rain and more rain. We had a great time averaging 12+ stripers a day. Bait was fairly easy early morning on dock lights. We used a mix of small to med. sized gizzards and large blueback/ales. Wednesday seemed to be the better day for numbers/size as we pulled in numerous fish from 30-34 inches. Thursday we didn't catch as many fish 30+ inches but did manage to catch my pb at 40" 27lbs. Friday and Saturday were similar with more fish caught but smaller in size ranging from 20-32 inches. Used planer boards with a mix of free to 3/8 oz. light lines.

Quick question Hooked. I see your downline setups in the photo seem to have pretty nifty swivel/weight setup. is that a specific type of swivel? or are you just tying on two separate swivels with a few inches of line in between to hold your weight still? id be interested in some of those.
