Has anyone upgraded their units for the new release? Sounds like a great update, with the new FishReveal functionality. Supposedly it does a nice job of overlaying CHIRP sonar atop StructureScan. If it works as good as promised, I will be one happy camper. I've downloaded the release for my Simrad but have not had a chance to installed it yet. www.lowrance.com/help-and-support/software-upgrade-nos59/

I like it, I have a lowrance elite 7ti. It overlays on the downscan. I did have to change the sensitivity on Fish reveal to a lower setting due to I felt like it was showing too many little fish and or confusing structure at times making it hard to see the tree tops. I will attach some pics now with how I have it tuned and I really like it.

I have a echo chrip 94 sv how do I get the new download for it? You can't. It's only for lowrance, not Garmin

Think it’s only for HDS Gen3 and newer and the newer Elite’s
I like this / seems to give better data than the downscan overlay on regular sonar

Yep, only for those units and the Simrad equivalents (GO XSE/XSRs, NSS evos and NSO evos). Plus, if you run the hds Carbon or the NSS evo 3, this release "enhanced the performance and clarity of SideScan, DownScan Imaging™, and StructureScan® HD or 3D imaging, without sacrificing the range" (this appears to comprise new high-def color palettes and some technical imaging software improvements). I'm pretty impressed with the pics above. Seems like a new feature that I'll actually use regularly.
