Nice Job! But I thought I was the only one who could possibly check a creek for shad and find NONE. I am sorry this had to happen but it is slightly comforting to me to now know I'm not the ONLY one this happens to.

I am sorry this had to happen but it is slightly comforting to me to now know I'm not the ONLY one this happens to. If I don't find Big bait I try not to sweat it too much I fish with what I have. I agree 100% with bigger bait bigger fish, but I drive over 2 hours to get to the lake and if it's not an extended weekend I hate to use up all my time trying to find bait. Ales will put fish in the boat too and most of the time I have a 5 year old in the boat and a 28" fish to him is 4 foot long.
